Thanks to superb digital audio processing, the WF-1000XM4 offered the best listening experience. But to get this feature, you need to pay extra.
I definitely noticed a dramatic improvement in audio quality when listening to the same music on Tidal versus Apple Music and Spotify. Not every brand’s digital audio processing features actually improve the sound, but Sony’s Bass Boost and Speech Mode presets dramatically improved my listening experience while listening to highly-produced pop music or calling friends.
